Armenian National Assembly speaker to be named today

The National Assembly of Armenia will elect a speaker at its session today. At the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) Executive Body meeting on Saturday, RPA proposed RPA deputy chairman, RPA parliamentary faction head Galust Sahakyan as candidate for the speaker’s post. 

There is no information as to whether or not the other factions will nominate their candidate.
