Zhoghovurd: Mika Cement plant has buyer

Mikhail Baghdasarov’s Mika Cement plant was declared bankrupt several months ago and was mortgaged for a loan from VTB Armenia Bank. 

According to Zhoghovurd, Russia-based Armenian businessmen are interested in buying the plant. Head of the plant’s technical department Serob Sharoyan is their representative in Armenia, which means that it is highly probable that he will be appointed director of Mika Cement.

VTB Armenia Bank neither confirmed nor refuted the information about the plant sale.
