Haykakan Zhamanak: Turnover tax reduction to lead to inflation

The Armenian government yesterday approved the bill on reduction of turnover tax from 3.5% to 1%. According to Haykakan Zhamanak, this will ease the tax burden of SMEs. However, experts believe that this will lead to inflation. Hakob Avagyan, head of SME Cooperation Association NGO, expressed such an opinion in a talk with Haykakan Zhamanak’s correspondent.
