The agrément on the appointment of Tigran Sargsyan as Ambassador of Armenia to the U.S has already been transferred to the Armenian Foreign Ministry and the presidential decree was expected to be signed on Tuesday, Hraparak writes.
“Although the United States normally delays agrément procedures, it was surprisingly speedy this time. Even the appointment of U.S. ambassadors to other countries takes a long time, just as it was in case of Armenia and Azerbaijan,” the newspaper comments.
