Safaryan: Armenia will not join CU even before January

There are a number of factors hindering Armenia’s accession to the Eurasian Economic Union, political analyst Stepan Safaryan told a press conference in Yerevan.

“Yerevan was seeking to join the Eurasian Economic Union before March 5. Armenia fulfilled its commitments rapidly in that period. But it was disappointed when the membership was delayed,” Safaryan said.

According to the expert, Armenia will not join the Customs Union even before next January since the problems hindering the accession will not be solved by that time.
