Temperatures to rise in coming days

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected in Lori, Tavush and Shirak provinces of Armenia on August 8-12, mostly in the evening. Hail is possible in some areas. Winds may reach 18-23 meters per second during a thunderstorm, said the Hydrometeorology and Monitoring State Service of Armenian Emergency Ministry.

There will be southwest winds of 5-10 meters per second. Temperatures will rise by 2-3 degrees on August 8-9 and will not change noticeably in the next few days.

Precipitation is not expected in Yerevan on August 8-12. Winds of 15-20 meters per second are expected in evening hours.
