Sambo: Grigor Mkhitaryan wins world title

Armenia’s Grigor Mkhitaryan (CSKA, trainer - Hayk Avetisyan) won the gold medal in the 52 kg competition at the Sambo World Championship among youth and juniors in South Korea. Seyran Sahakyan (90 kg, CSKA, trainer – Martin Sargsyan) won the silver.

Lendrush Zatikyan (Gyumri State Sports College of Olympic Reserve, trainer -Martin Sargsyan) won the bronze medal in the 48 kg competition on Thursday, the first day of the championship, the official website of the Armenian Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs reports.
