Hraparak: Election of Armenian judge at ECHR may be invalidated

The controversial election of a judge representing Armenia at the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) may be declared invalid, Hraparak writes. Some NGOs plan to file complaints to the court. Three candidates were announced winners of the contest: former Ombudsman Armen Harutyunyan, lawyer Ara Ghazaryan, and Prosecutor General’s Office employee Nelik Harutyunyan. President Serzh Sargsyan has confirmed the results of the contest.
