Zhoghovurd: Gazprom Armenia demands advance payment from greenhouses

Gazprom Armenia is demanding advance payment from greenhouses to supply them with gas, President of the Greenhouse Association NGO Poghos Gevorgyan told Zhoghovurd.

“Gazprom Armenia demands them to pay 1-4 million drams, depending on the greenhouse size. Greenhouse owners are in a complex situation as they have to ensure heating to protect plants from freezing. This decision comes after the greenhouses made a big noise over the low quality of natural gas last winter,” the newspaper says.
