11 Armenian companies to export meat products to Russia

11 Armenian companies, one poultry company and 10 meat packing companies, have been allowed to export meat products to Russia, head of the veterinary inspectorate of Armenian Agriculture Ministry Hovhannes Mkrtchyan told reporters on Tuesday.

In his words, according to preliminary information, Armenian companies can export 2,500-3,000 tons of meat products.

Talks will be held with Russia to permit exports of other poultry companies’ products and ground meat in the future, he added.
