Drivers recommended to use winter tires

All the interstate and republican highways of Armenia were open to traffic as of 10:00 am on Tuesday, the press service of Armenia’s Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.

Sotk-Karvachar highway and Vardenyats mountain pass are barely passable. Ice crust is observed on the motorways in Sisian, Lanjik, Jajur, Ashotsk-Amasia, and Aparan-Aragats.

Road cleaning is underway. The Ministry urges drivers to exercise caution and use winter tires.
