2014 was difficult year for agriculture – Minister

The passing year can be considered difficult for the agricultural sector, Armenian Minister of Agriculture Sergo Karapetyan told reporters on Wednesday. He explained that most of fruit trees were damaged by frosts in the spring.

Among the positive shifts in the sector, the Minister named the growth of gross production of sown plants.

“There are many problems in the agricultural sector,” Karapetyan said, adding that they have resolved some of them and some still remain unresolved.
