Azerbaijan continues intensive violations of ceasefire regime

Azerbaijani forces continue the intensive violations of the ceasefire regime along the Line of Contact between Karabakh and Azerbaijani troops, the press service of the Nagorno-Karabakh Defense Ministry said.

Azerbaijan violated the ceasefire about 300 times on January 16 and on the night of January 17. Over 3,000 shots, from guns of various calibers, were fired at Karabakh frontline positions.

The frontline forces of the NKR Defense Army took appropriate retaliatory actions and took the necessary measures to reliably protect the frontline positions along the Line of Contact.
