Haykakan Zhamanak: Armenia’s consumer confidence index falls

The Central Bank of Armenia has calculated the consumer confidence index in the country, based on a survey of 1,811 households, Haykakan Zhamanak writes.

According to the respondents, the current conditions in the country have never been so bad.

“The consumer confidence index is published quarterly, since 2005. In the fourth quarter of 2014 the index of current conditions was 30.5, whereas even during the 2008-2009 economic crisis, that index did not drop below 35,” the newspaper writes.
