3.5 magnitude earthquake registered in Armenia

Magnitude 3.5 earthquake hit Armenia at 5:26am local time today, according to the press service of Armenian Ministry of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations.

The earthquake’s hypocenter was at a depth of 10 km. The earthquake measured 4-5 on the Richter scale in the epicenter.

The tremors were felt in Gavar and Martuni towns and Yeranos village of Gegharkunik province (measuring 3-4) and in Yerevan (2-3).
