Samvel Sevian and Varuzhan Akobian in World Cup

Armenian GMs Samvel Sevian and Varuzhan Akobian qualified for the World Cup 2015 by the results of the U.S. Chess Championship held in St. Louis.

Up to now, four more Armenian grandmasters have been eligible to participate in the World Cup: Levon Aronian – due to his high rating, Gabriel Sargissian, Hrant Melkumyan and Samvel Ter-Sahakyan – by the results of the European Individual Championship 2014, armchess.am reports.
