Hovik Abrahamyan instructs to consider installation of new anti-hail stations

Armenian Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan on Wednesday instructed Minister of Agriculture Sergo Karapetyan and Minister of Territorial Administration and Emergency Situations Armen Yeritsyan to conduct a study to find out how many anti-hail stations are needed to fully protect the farm lands.

In addition, he instructed Mr Karapetyan to prepare a report on the hail-affected lands and the amount of damage.

Last week, hail seriously damaged agricultural lands in Armavir and Ararat provinces of Armenia.
