Haykakan Zhamanak: Edmon Marukyan to found political party

Independent MP Edmon Marukyan is planning to found a political party. He is currently conducting consultations with different people, Haykakan Zhamanak reports.

This will be a pro-Western party. “The party will have a clear foreign policy orientation,” he said.

Marukyan said he has all the necessary resources to create a party.

The newspaper adds that Heritage faction secretary Tevan Poghosyan will reportedly join the party.
