Armenian defense minister, Russian Gen. Staff deputy chief discuss situation on Armenian-Azerbaijani border

Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan received yesterday Col. Gen. Igor Sergun, Chief of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian armed forces, Deputy Chief of the General Staff, according to press service of Armenian Defense Ministry. 

The sides discussed military-political issues of regional and international importance, the situation of Armenian-Azerbaijani border, and issues related to development of bilateral cooperation to ensure the security of the two countries in the current geopolitical situation.
The delegation led by Igor Sergun is scheduled to meet with high-ramking officers of Defense Ministry of Armenia, the General Staff of the Armenian armed forces, and military intelligence.
