MP: No Armenian official has ever expressed intention to transfer any territories to Azerbaijan

No official of Armenia has ever expressed an intention to transfer any territories to Azerbaijan: it is the Armenian side’s principled stand, the deputy of the parliamentary faction of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) Manvel Badeyan told a press conference today.

“We have never expressed a readiness to transfer some territory or other,” the MP declared.

In his words, despite the long duration of Karabakh conflict settlement negotiations held in the last 20 years and statements by both sides about the need for compromises, “no millimeter of Artsakh’s native land” may be a subject of concessions.
