‘Stand Up, Armenia’ civil movement opposed to a hike in electricity tariffs has admitted its defeat and the senselessness of further struggle.
“Struggle should have been carried on in July, and we started that struggle from Republic Square. ‘No to Plunder’ initiative did not back us at that time. Then everyone saw that their protest on September 11 was not a mass action supported by society,” member of ‘Stand Up, Armenia’ civil movement Andrias Ghuaksyan told ‘Hraparak’ paper.
