Situation on border with Azerbaijan is tense but stable, defense minister of Armenia says

The situation on the border with Azerbaijan remains tense but stable, Defense Minister of Armenia Seyran Ohanyan told reporters today.

In his words, the border situation was relatively quiet last night, with the enemy not using large caliber guns and mortars. “The situation is under control of the Armenian armed forces,” the defense minister said.

He stressed that the Armenian people should not worry - the servicemen on duty in the frontline fulfill their tasks properly.
