Haykakan Zhamanak: Russia will not strike NATO member state

“Turkey is a NATO member state, and in this sense Russia will not be able to maneuver. If Russia strikes a retaliatory blow against Turkey, it will be perceived as a blow against NATO. Naturally Russia will not take such a step,” military expert Karen Vrtanesyan told ‘Haykakan Zhamanak”.

He said that Turkey and Russia have quite different interests in the Syria conflict.
