Government approves long-term development program of Armenia’s energy system

At its session today the Armenian government approved the program “The Ways of Long-Term (through 2036) Development of the Energy System of the Republic of Armenia”.

Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan stressed the importance of adoption of the energy system’s long-term development program since the sector is the backbone of the country’s economy.

Hovik Abrahamyan thanked the international organizations that provided assistance with the development of the program.
