By order of Armenian health minister, hospitals and polyclinics to function during New Year holidays

By an order of Armenian Health Minister Armen Muradyan, there will be employees on duty at the Ministry in the period of the New Year and Christmas holidays from December 31, 2015, to January 10, 2016. The deputy health ministers and the heads of the ministry departments have been appointed as responsible officials.

All medical institutions that provide medical care to patients under the state-funded system will function in an emergency mode during that period , according to the press service of Health Ministry.

Policlinics of Armenia will also have duty doctors during the holiday season, mostly trauma surgeons   and emergency first aid specialists.

A round-the-clock hotline (010) 52 88 72 was also set up.
