G.Minasyan: Republican Party of Armenia supports introduction of electronic voting system in country

A sitting of Executive Body of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) was held yesterday, on January 21, during which adoption of a new Electoral Code of Armenia and the opportunities of ensuring transparency of elections with the use of best international practice was discussed , MP of RPA faction Gagik Minasyan told reporters after the sitting.

“I will not go into details, but the presented mechanisms will enable to ensure our citizens’ absolute trust in elections,” Minasyan said noting that RPA supports the introduction of an electronic voting system.  

“There are donors willing to help introduce that system’ he added.
