Good relationship maintained between Turkish and Russian oil companies

“Turkish Petroleum Corporation state oil company continues its cooperation with Russian companies as originally planned, despite the tension between the two countries,” the company’s CEO Besim Sisman told Ria Novosti during a “IHS CERAWeek” conference.

“We have a good relationship with Russian companies. Our Government ordered us to continue the projects,” stated Sisman.

When requested to name the Russian partner companies and the projects, the CEO said that “Turkish Petroleum Corporation” mainly works with the Russian “LUKOIL”. He also emphasized that their project in southern Siberia develops as originally planned.
