Oscars 2016: Tribute paid to Kirk Kerkorian

Oscar winning actor Louis Gossett, Jr. introduced the In Memoriam tribute to honour the many talents passed away during the previous year, who in any way were connected with film, art and the film academy.

During the 88th Academy Awards, tributes were paid to “Metro-Goldwyn-Meyer” founder, American-Armenian businessman and benefactor Kirk Kerkorian.

The tribute video was accompanied with the famous The Beatles hit “The Blackbird”.
