Cheese production levels increase in Armenia

According to data provided by National Statistics Service (NSS), 1989.8 tons of cheese was produced in Armenia during January and February, 2016 which is 2.1% more compared to last year.

NSS further reports that milk and sour cream production levels in January and February, 2016 have also increased both by 0.7% (57.1 million litres and 977.1 tons, respectively).

Meanwhile, production levels of curd cheese and yogurt decreased by 0.8 and 0.3%, respectively.
