Second victim of bus explosion identified

“According to preliminary investigations, second victim of the bus explosion on April 25 has been identified, Ruben Balyan, 55. He is an Armenian citizen. His cell-phone card was found on the scene. A DNA test was appointed to identify the victim,” said advisor to the Chairman of RA Investigative Committee, Sona Truzyan.

Earlier, it was reported that the suspect in bus explosion had a property dispute with his mother. The latter had sold the property and gave the whole money to her other child, which raised serious family problems. The man, 55 has served a 13-year sentence for murder in Armenia. He also served a sentence overseas. The Investigation Committee refused to comment on this news.

To remind, 2 people died and 8 were injured during a bus explosion on Halabyan street, Yerevan. The injured are in stable conditions. Investigations are underway.
