Turkish opposition MP responds to Bundestag recognition of Armenian Genocide
Turkish main opposition ‘Republican People’s Party’ MP, Bulent Kusoglu made a rather bold comment concerning Bundestag recognition of the Armenian Genocide, blaming it on president Recep Tayipp Erdogan.
“Turkey is so weak and discredited abroad that despite 3.5 million Turks [living in Germany] they used the word ‘genocide’ [in Bundestag]. As long as Erdogan is involved, we’ll always be in a mess,” according to Turkish news agency, Kusoglu wrote on his Twitter page.
