International law expert, Ara Ghazaryan’s studies revealed that the Armenian society doesn’t perceive the essence of public authority.
During a press conference in Article 3 club, Mr. Ghazaryan said that it’s the major problem of the society.
“One of the main aims of Constitution amendment, proposed last year in December was that there’s no state authority, that state agencies are hired to implement public authority. The idea of public authority isn’t fully perceived. Its vivid example being the morality statement made during the “Electric Yerevan” campaign by the police. There’s no state authority, only public authority.” Mr. Ghazaryan said.
