Weightlifter Arpine Dalakyan conquers a bronze medal at Junior World Championships

Armenia’s women’s weightlifting junior team member Arpine Dalakyan conquered a bronze medal at the 2016 IWF Youth World Championships in Penang, Malaysia.

In the +69 kg weight class competition the acting European champion Arpine Dalakyan in the double-event of 220 kg (93+127) placed 3th, also winning a small bronze in the snatch.

In the men’s competition (+94 kg) Varazdat Lalayan in the double-event of 340kg (156+184) was placed 5th.

To note, earlier Armenia’s men’s weightlifting youth team member Karen Avagyan conquered a bronze medal.
