Painter Peto Poghosyan receives an offer to participate in Re-interpretation Exhibition

Painter Peto Poghosyan has taken part in International Watercolor Invitational Exhibition which was held in Handan, China.

"It was a high-quality exhibition featuring the works of young artists together with the ones of legendary Chinese and foreign painters," P. Poghosyan told panorama.am.

He noted that they paid a three-day visit to Chinta Lake-a mountainous paradise- where artists with different styles and of different generations worked side by side. "I really gained incredible feelings and experience."

According to him the exhibition was widely covered in China and art lovers, collectors and curators from worldwide had arrived to take part in the event.

"During the exhibition I received an offer to take part in Re-interpretation International Exhibition in China," P. Poghosyan noted.

He has brought a whole collection by famous watercolourists with him to Armenia. In his words it would be very interesting to present them here.

Notably the professional Jury had chosen ten young artists (under 45 years) from worldwide to participate in the event with 20 painters being chosen from China. Each artist presented 5 works.
