U.N. expects 2.7 percent economic growth in Armenia in 2017

United Nations has published its annual economic forecast entitled “The World Economic Situation and Prospects,” Panorama.am reports.

According to the forecast the economic growth will rise to 2.7 percent in Armenia in 2017 and 3.0 percent in 2018.

The report expects 1.0 and 1.5 percent economic growth for Azerbaijan in 2017 and 2018 respectively.

The report also notes that the unemployment rate made up 18.3 percent in Armenia in 2016.
