Georgia’s Energy Ministry does not intend to release agreement with Russia’s Gazprom over Russian gas transit to Armenia

Georgian Energy Minister has announced that the Georgian side cannot release any details on the provisions of the contract signed between Georgia and Russian Gazprom over the terms of Russian gas transit into Armenia through Georgia only by its decision, Panorama.am reports referring to the Georgian news outlets.

According to the Georgian media the decision on releasing the documents must be agreed by the both sides.

“The Georgian side cannot decide which details are to be published. It requires a bilateral agreement. As I have already noted we are working on the issue,” the minister has noted and once more underscored that such kinds of agreements are considered trade secrets in the developed countries.
