Tigran Harutyunyan finishes the 5th at Portugal Open 2017

Portugal Open 2017 chess tournament ended in Lisbon on Friday with Eduardo Itturrizaga of Venezuela declared the winner.  Armenia’s representative Tigran Harutyunyan earned 7 points and shared the 3-8 places, however the Armenian took the 8th position after the additional indicators were calculated.

Additionally, Harutyunyan has improved his individual rating by 7 points.  

Armenia’s another representative Karen Grigoryan and Tigran Gharamyan, representing France, have taken 17th and 18th places respectively.
