Armenian players victorious at first round of Ferdowsi Cup International Tournament

Ferdowsi Cup international chess tournament has kicked off in Iran on Monday. As the Chess federation of Armenia reports, 322 chess players, representing 18 countries participate in the tournament.

There are 12 GMs and 11 IMs among the participants of the tournament. Armenian Champion GM Hovhannes Gabuzyan and GM Hrair Simonian are among the participants. In the first round both our players celebrated victories.
