Aeroflot Open: Round 6 over

The games of Round 6 in Aeroflot Open chess tournament took place in Moscow. Hayk Martirosyan and Tigran Harutyunyan who play in Section A, celebrated victories. Sergei Movsesian drew his game and Manuel Petrosyan suffered a defeat.

As the Chess Federation of Armenia reports, after six rounds, Vladimir Fedoseev is solely leading the table of Section A with 5 points.

Sergei Movsesian has scored 3.5 points, Hayk Martirosyan has 2.5 points and Tigran Harutyunyan and Manuel Petrosyan have 2 points apiece.

In Section B, Aram Hakobyan has scored 4.5 out of possible 6 points and shares the 2nd position. In Section C, Vahe Danielyan scored 4 points and the table is led by German Bazeev, who has 6 out of 6 points.
