Vaccine distribution and livestock vaccination process launched in Armenia

In 2017, it is intended to implement preventive and diagnostic measures against the diseases of murrain, anthrax, brucellosis, nodular dermatitis, blackleg of cattle, as well as anthrax of horses and varroa disease of bees.

As the Information and Public Relations Department of the Armenian Ministry of Agriculture told Panorama.am, the process of the vaccine distribution against the above-mentioned diseases and the vaccination process of the animals have already launched.

The source notes that meantime, for the timely and more effective implementation of the activates of the veterinarians serving in various communities it is necessary to take measures to centralize the livestock in the communities, as well as to transfer the animals without vaccination to remote pastures.
