Several wounded in powerful blast in Turkey's Diyarbakir

Up to 10 people have been wounded in an explosion in southeastern Turkey's Diyarbakir, local television reported Tuesday, according to Sputnik agency.

Police and ambulances have arrived in the Baglar region of the city where Kurdish separatists are known to be active, according to the DHA news service.

The blast struck in the vicinity of an anti-terrorism police building near a police armored vehicle repair building, according to the NTV broadcaster.
