Artur Aleksanyan qualified for the quarter-finals at the European Championship 2017

Member of the Armenian wrestling team, Olympic Champion and two-time World Champion Artur Aleksayna (98 kg) has qualified for the quarter finals of the European Championship 2017 underway in Novi Sad, Serbia.

As the National Olympic Committee of Armenia (ANOC) reports, Aleksanyan has started the tournament in the qualification round, beating Vilius Laurinaitis of Lithuania and Michael Kajayay of Serbia.

In the quarter-finals Aleksanyan will face Felix Baldauf of Norway.
