Criminal case initiated over Artsakh soldier’s killing by Azerbaijani fire

The Third Garrison Investigative Unit of Armenia’s Investigative Committee launched a criminal case into the murder of mandatory serviceman Karen Danielyan by the Azerbaijani fire.

As the Investigative Committee reminds,  on May 20, at around 07:20, Karen Danielyan, a mandatory serviceman of the Artsakh Defense Army, sustained a fatal gunshot wound in the head due to the Azerbaijani shooting in an unnamed military base of Karabakh Defense Army.

The Third Garrison Investigative Unit initiated a criminal case over murder out of motives of national, racial or religious hatred or fanatism. Preliminary probe is under way.
