Armenian athletes conquer bronze at Sambo World Cup stage

The Armenian Sambo team took part in the “Nursultan Nazarbayev Awards” A-class international tournament within the Sambo World Cup stage in Astana on July 6-8.

As the Armenian National Olympic Committee told Panorama.am, Armenian sambo practitioners Tigran Kirakosyan (57 kg) and Vahagn Chalyan (82 kg) won bronze medals at the tournament.

Over 200 samboists from 16 countries are taking part in the championship.
