Armenia’s Alexander Bachkov cruises into semi-final at the World Boxing Championships

The 2017 World Boxing Championships is underway in Hamburg with the semi-final games set for August 31. As the National Olympic Committee reported, the sole representative of the Armenian team, Alexander Bachkov (64kg), who won gold at the last European Championship, will face Andy Cruz Gomez of Cuba.

Thus, the Armenian boxer has ensured at least bronze at the World Championships.

The semi-final games will kick off at 20:00 Yerevan time.
