European Chess Championships: Armenian men’s team draws with Hungary

The Armenian and Hungarian men’s teams played a 2-2 draw during the fifth round of the European Team Chess Championships underway in Crete, Greece.

According to the National Olympic Committee, Levon Aronian, Sergey Movsisyan, Gabriel Sargsyan and Hrant Melkumyan drew their games.

At the same round, the Armenian women’s chess team lost to Georgia 0-4, with Elina Danielyan, Lilit Mkrtchyan, Lilit Galoyan and Maria Kursova suffering a defeat.

The championship will run until 7 November.
