NSS: 2.7% price rise recorded in Armenia's consumer market in January

Consumer prices in Armenia rose 2.7% in January, compared with December 2017, the country's National Statistical Service (NSS) reported, adding the rise is mainly conditioned with the 5.7% price hike of food and non-alcoholic beverages
According to the newly release data, for the indicated period food price (including alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and tobacco) rose by 5.1% the price for non-food products and services 1.5%and 0.2%.

The Consumer Price Index (CPI) stood at 102.7% in January this year, 104.0% - for non-food products and 100.6% - for services, the NSS reported.
