2018 Aeroflot Open: Tigran Petrosyan claims second consecutive victory

Armenian chess player Tigran Petrosyan claimed the second consecutive victory at the 16th Aeroflot Open runs from 20-28 February 2018 in the Cosmos Hotel in Moscow. Competing in the top A tournament of mainly grandmasters and international masters, the Armenian comes the sixth after two rounds.

As the National Olympic Committee reported, other representatives of Armenia have recorded the following results: Arman Mikayelyan - 1.5 points (22nd), Gabriel Sargsyan, Hayk Martirosyan, Manuel Petrosyan, Arab Hakobyan - 1 point each (32nd,42nd,49th and 64th respectively) and Shant Sargsyan - 92nd.

To note, Hakobyan will face Martirosyan in the third round.
