Armenia's Minister of Culture Armen Amiryan toured today book-houses named after eminent Armenian classical writers installed in capital Yerevan. As the ministry reported on its Facebook page, Amiryan visited the "Isahakyan", the newly-opened "Koryun," "Abobyan" "Nalbandyan" and "Charents" book-houses which are located on respective streets in capital Yerevan.
The idea of the small book-houses filled with books and selling tickets for museums and theaters belongs to Minister Amiryan, while the design of the houses is from architect Arman Davtyan (Nur). According to the ministry plan, overall 10 book-houses are planned to be installed in the capital, half of them are already operating.
It should be noted that this unique and important initiative is fulfilled through private investments (Little Story).
