Three citizens wounded in Yerevan protests remain in hospital – health ministry

Three citizens injured during the public protests in Yerevan, Armenia’s capital, are still under in-patient care in different medical centers, Spokesperson of the Health Ministry Anahit Haytayan told Panorama.am.

Two of the injured are being treated since 16 April, while the third citizen, who suffered soft tissue injuries, was hospitalized on Friday at the St. Grigor Lusavorich Medical Center.

All the three citizens remain under the supervision of doctors and receive the necessary treatment.

They are reported to be in a satisfactory condition.

Scores of people have suffered injures in the wake of clashes with the riot police as today marks the eight day of mass demonstrations in Yerevan, protesting ex-president Serzh Sargsyan’s nomination and election as the country’s prime minister.
